O artigo discute as competências essenciais para o auditor público diante das transformações digitais e das novas demandas sociais. Argumenta-se que o profissional do futuro deve aliar competências técnicas (hard skills), como análise de dados e IA, a habilidades comportamentais (soft skills), como pensamento crítico, comunicação cidadã e ética. Essa combinação, segundo o autor, é fundamental para que a auditoria transcenda a mera verificação de conformidade e se torne um agente estratégico de inovação e geração de valor público.
