Implementation of a geocatalogue to assist location and recovery of open geographic data

Abstract

This paper approaches the creation of a geocatalogue, which uses semantics and ontologies to assist in the process of discovering geographic resources in services of an open spatial data infrastructure. Its architecture incorporates a non-relational
graphs-oriented database and it is subject to implementation in cloud computing. To conceive it, the SERVUS systems development methodology,
specialized in architecture oriented to geospatial services, was used.
